Renowned Australian sculptor Julie Squires has been selected as the successful tenderer for the Peter Brock memorial statue.

The Melbourne based artist was chosen from a shortlist of five of the nation's leading public art sculptors who tendered for the project, which has been commissioned to commemorate the life and times of the nine times Bathurst 1000 winner.
